As a city-level TV station, the use frequency of the studio is very low compared to that of the central and provincial television stations, and the stage lighting effects equipment and control personnel are also poorly equipped. Making good use of existing equipment and using existing equipment to produce high-quality and effective art programs with few people is the common responsibility of recording crews at our municipal television stations and studios. The stage lighting effects devices referred to here refer to computer lights, smoke machines, snow machines, bubble machines, colorful canons, and the like.
I. Use of computer lights and consoles
Prefecture-level TV resources is limited, money is tight, when the purchase amount and console equipment is often several times to buy, often caused less number of amount of configuration, but model of mixed, the product performance is uneven, to use caused some trouble and difficulties.In particular, the control section is often a dedicated console that comes with the first batch of computer lamps purchased, and is not very effective for other types of computer lamps.In the long run, we found out how to control different types of computer lamps by adjusting the simple special console.Take the pilot1600 console as an example.

There are three reasons for this:
(1) There is only one DMX512 signal output port on the console. It is not possible to control multiple lamps with multiple control lines.
(2) The console originally controlled only one type of scanner. The address code setting can be set according to the channel number of the luminaire. If the number of new luminaire channels is different from the original luminaire, it will be covered. Or cover the original light channel;
(3) The dedicated library's built-in library does not support new fixtures. It does not correctly display the number and name of control channels for new fixtures, which is not conducive to maintenance and use. Our original 4 GSM scanning scanners were later purchased with 8 domestic moving head lights. Due to financial reasons, we cannot purchase a new general-purpose scanner console. To solve this problem, we have adopted the following method: We first elicit the original scanner's No. 4 lamp (the last scanner). A signal line to the new luminaire No. 1 luminaire, which connects all 12 luminaires in series and is controlled by a signal line, solves the problem of the DMX512 signal output; then we use one of the two types of luminaires with many channels. Standard to set the address code, the original GSM light is 16 channels, the new light is 8 channels, we will set the interval between the address code to 16. This ensures that each luminaire is well-controlled without the problem of channel coverage; in the end, we create a new library of lights according to the function of each channel of the new lamp, allowing the console to recognize the new luminaire. In this way, we can use the luminaire correctly and perform various programming. Of course, this is only an expedient measure under limited conditions. After all, it is cumbersome to use, and if it is conditional, it is better to use a general-purpose scanner console. Second, the use of control of the power of the computer light
As we all know, the light life of a scanner is generally 750 hours, and it cannot be triggered (started) by heat. After it is turned off, it must wait for the bulb to cool before restarting. According to these characteristics, when we perform video rehearsal for a cultural program, we need to focus on the recording of songs and dances that require the use of computer lights to enhance the atmosphere, in order to shorten its use time. In order to avoid the danger of a sudden (black start) call due to a sudden power failure or a momentary power outage to the computer light, we have taken measures to install the AC under the air switch that supplies the power of the scanner. Toucher. The button switch that controls the closing of the AC contactor is led to the lighting control room. In this way, the self-starting of the computer light after a power failure call is avoided, and the labor of shutting down the personnel and turning on the power is reduced.
III. Use of Smoke Machines and Bubble Machines
The two hoods of our XX TV station were purchased in 1996. The control line of each hood is only 5 meters long. Use two people on the stage to control. It is difficult to communicate with the director and the smoke rates of the two hoods are also inconsistent. In response to this situation, we have made the following improvements to lengthen the control line by using two five-core cable lengths of up to 30 meters and welding a five-core head (the smoke control line is a five-core wire). Follow the walls on both sides of the stage and lead them to the equipment floor. Then, from the equipment floor, lead to the side of the follow-up light, and find another two core cables with a length of about 6 meters. When welding the five-core female head, first find out the smoke control line (the cigarette control line consists of five cores, namely 1 ground 2 pt 3 timing 4 normally open 5 common power) and the public power line. Weld together when welding. Two 2-wire cables. After soldering, it will be inserted into the original controller and the two cores will be welded out. The other end of the cable is connected to a dual switch. It should be noted that the two 2-conductor cables that come out of the two hood control lines can only be connected to the dual-control switch with four contacts to avoid the phase sequence of the power supplied by the two hoods. Short circuit failure. The double control switch for controlling the smoke machine is fixed on the handle of the follow light lamp, and the two controllers of the original smoke machine are fixed on the track of the follow light lamp. In this way, you can control the hood while operating the follower lamp. When you need two cigarettes to smoke at the same time, click on the double control switch on the follower lamp handle. When you need a cigarette machine to smoke, it is very convenient to point the controller of that hood.
